Whoosh, Whoosh, Whoosh,

We had our first baby appointment today and was able to hear the heartbeat.  It was so exciting!  The CNM put the doppler in one spot and explained that the sound we were hearing was my heartbeat.  Then she moved the doppler a little bit and she said that it was my heartbeat again, only louder this time.  M was getting nervous that she would not be able to find the baby's heart beat.  However, the next time she moved the doppler there was a strong, fast, loud whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.  It was so special and the whole experience became even more real.  There is really another human being growing inside of me!  How exciting!
